Dear Washington Borough Community,

First, I wish to express my sincere thanks for your cooperation and flexibility during our unexpected early dismissal yesterday due to the water main break in Washington Borough. Your understanding is greatly appreciated!

The district has been informed by NJ American Water that the "Water Boil Notice" will remain in effect for at least another 24 hours. We are encouraging you to send your child(ren) to school with water bottles, if possible. We will provide bottled water for students in each building, if necessary.
