Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),

As we prepare for the re-opening of our district in September, the district’s Re-Opening Committee in cooperation with stakeholders of the district have worked to develop a plan built upon the foundation of the health and safety of our staff and students. The district’s Re-Opening Plan is attached. Elements of the attached plan are in accordance and aligned with the requirements outlined in the  New Jersey Department of Education’s The Road Back: Restart and Recovery Plan.

Families are encouraged to review the plan and forward comments and concerns to be shared with the district’s administrative staff and members of the  Re-Opening Committee. Parents of children at Memorial School please contact Mr. Jenkins (jenkinse@washboro.org) and parents of children at Taylor Street school please contact Mrs. Koeppen (koeppens@washboro.org) with questions or concerns. The Re-Opening Committee, in coordination with the district’s Pandemic Response Team, will work to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for all of our staff and students for the entire 2020-2021 academic year.

I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate through this unprecedented timeframe.
